The Athlete Transition Scholarship

A man wearing a baseball cap with the LA logo, resting his chin on his hand, looking at the camera. He has a slight smile and is dressed in a hoodie and a watch.

Growing up, I was always told that education and sports could open doors—but no one really explained how to walk through them. After high school, I found myself unsure, unprepared, and without direction. I didn’t know how to apply to colleges, navigate NCAA rules, or even visit campuses. I wasn’t lacking motivation—I just didn’t have the resources or guidance.

That’s why I’m offering this scholarship. I know there are student athletes out there with talent, discipline, and big dreams, but limited means. This $1,000 award is designed to help with the real costs—things like transportation to school visits, NCAA application fees, training, and transitional support.

It’s not just about money—it’s about making sure you don’t feel lost at a critical time, the way I once did. During the 2025–2026 school year, we’ll choose one standout student athlete from the Southwest Kentucky or Northwest Tennessee area—someone who excels on and off the field but may be held back by economic barriers.

This is my way of saying: I see you. I believe in you. And I want to help you keep going.
